Scottie Scheffler began his first round at the PGA Championship at 2:23 pm (Eastern Time) on Thursday, May 16. It didn't take long for him to show the talent that has led him to win four of his last five starts on the PGA Tour.
On his very first hole, Scottie Scheffler made an eagle that catapulted him into the top 20 of the leaderboard. Scheffler sent his ball straight into the hole with an iron shot from the fairway, more than 160 yards away.
