Fans on social media have reacted to Scottie Scheffler losing his temper at the 2024 BMW Championship. The American golfer became frustrated after a poor shot on the tenth hole during the second round of the FedEx Cup playoffs on Friday, August 23. Disappointed with his performance, the World No. 1 shouted "How is this possible?" loudly.

Scottie Scheffler had a decent start during the second round of the 2024 BMW Championship on the front nine but struggled as he teed off on the back nine, where he shot a double bogey on the tenth hole.

Fans in the comments section remarked on Scheffler’s increasing anger issues.

Scottie Scheffler carded a 72 on Friday at the 2024 BMW Championship, resulting in an 11-spot drop on the leaderboard

Scottie Scheffler struggled during the second round of the 2024 BMW Championship on Friday, August 23. He shot a 72, causing him to drop 11 positions on the leaderboard, settling in a tie for 29th place.

Scheffler started his round smoothly with two back-to-back birdies on the first two holes. He recorded three birdies and two bogeys on the front nine, followed by two birdies, a double bogey on the 10th hole, and a bogey on the back nine to finish with an even-par 72.

However, Scheffler had a decent start in the first round, where he carded a 1-under 71. He made only pars on the front nine, followed by three birdies and two bogeys on the back nine.

Heading into the third round of the 2024 BMW Championship, Scottie Scheffler will tee off 12 strokes behind the leader, Adam Scott. Meanwhile, Scott was phenomenal in the second round, shooting a bogey-free 63 with nine birdies to top the leaderboard. Keegan Bradley settled in second place, while Ludvig Åberg climbed 24 positions with a score of 10-under, settling in third place.

The 2024 BMW Championship will conclude with the final round on Sunday, August 25. Following the event, the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings will qualify for the Tour Championship next week.
