Scottie Scheffler has been off the grid for two weeks, ever since he won the 2024 Travelers Championship in TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Scheffler beat Tom Kim in the playoffs and has taken a three-week break ahead of the 2024 Open Championship.

The World No.1 has now given an update on his time off, which coincided with the 4th of July weekend. Scheffler took to Instagram to share several pictures and captioned the post:

"Escaped the heat for the 4th"

In the post, Scottie Scheffler is seen enjoying his vacation with his wife Meredith and newborn Bennett in Telluride, Colorado.

The place is relatively cooler in July compared to the rest of the USA. In a couple of pictures, he was also seen practicing golf with his friends.

A few days ago, Scheffler posted an Instagram story about hiking in Telluride.

Scottie Scheffler has had a grueling 2024 season, playing 15 tournaments. In the pre-tournament press conference, Scheffler said (via Essentially Sports):

"I think mentally fatigued. I think with golf, the physical aspect of it is something you can really train for. The mental part is, I would say, more difficult to train for."

Scottie Scheffler isn't in the field for the upcoming 2024 Genesis Scottish Open scheduled from July 11 to 14, 2024, at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. He will next be seen in the fourth Major of the year, the Open Championship.
