Sergio Garcia has a laugh over the different fonts on all of his US Open money clips

Veteran golfer Sergio Garcia laughed off the different fonts on his US Open money clips. The Spanish golfer has not missed any US Open since making his debut at the Major in 2000. He has recorded some fabulous finishes at the tournament and came close to winning the trophy. Furthermore, owing to his appearances at the Major for more than two decades, Garcia has also collected money clips.

Sergio Garcia has preserved his US Open money clips by covering them in polythene. He recently shared all of his money clips on his Instagram story, revealing that he has "been on a quest this year to find all of" his "US Open money clips."

Unfortunately, five of them were missing. Garcia was amazed to see the different fonts on his money clips. He shared the font sizes on his Instagram story, writing:

"Lots of fonts😂"

Sergio Garcia has only won one Major in his career, the 2017 Masters. In 2024, he earned entry to the US Open at the last moment and finished in a tie for 12th place.

Garcia recently competed in the qualifying round of The Open Championship but struggled in the game and failed to qualify for the final Major of the year. He had only played in two Majors in 2024. Prior to the US Open, he played at the Masters but struggled with his game and missed the cut.

Sergio Garcia made his debut at the US Open in 2000, finishing in a tie for 46th place. The next year, he had an impressive performance and tied for 12th place, followed by a solo fourth-place finish in 2002.

Sergio Garcia has finished in the top 10 at the Major five times, with his best being second place. He was the solo runner-up at the 2008 PGA Championship and tied for second place in the 2014 Open Championship. He has played at the US Open 25 times and made the cut in 20.
