Shane Lowry is all set to compete in the newly launched golf league TGL today at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Lowry is part of The Bay Golf Club, which is all set to take on New York Golf Club in the opening match of TGL.

The Irish golfer is quite nervous as he took to X (formerly Twitter) and revealed his nerve-racking concern to everyone. Lowry said he is concerned about missing the 60-foot screen and hitting an errant shot.

"If hitting the first-ever shot in @TGL history tomorrow night wasn’t nerve-racking enough, imagine if I miss the 60ft screen."

Each team has four golfers, with three playing in every game. According to the lineups set for the first match between New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club, Shane Lowry will start the proceedings for his team on the first hole, followed by Wyndham Clark and Ludvig Aberg.

The TGL is a one-of-a-kind golf league started by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. There are six teams from six different cities in this league, with top PGA Tour golfers competing each week on Mondays and Tuesdays for about two hours at prime time.
