Steph Curry finally won his first Olympic gold medal in Paris as Team USA defeated France in the Men's Olympic Basketball final 98-87 to clinch the gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The win marked Team USA's 5th consecutive gold medal in basketball.
Amid his victory, a video of the NBA point guard was shared on social media where he was seen sinking a hole-in-one on the 152-yard par-3 seventh hole at the American Century Celebrity Tournament held in Lake Tahoe last year.
The American Century Tournament features 80 celebrity golfers each year. The field of 80 golfers includes Hall of Famers, current professional athletes, comedians, and actors.

"It’s a gold medal for Steph Curry and The American team. Throwback to his wild ace"
It was pure emotion for Steph Curry as he ran around the green slapping the flag stick on his way by. After the round, he remarked on the incident and said (as quoted by "The Guardian"):
"That was wild!" Curry said. "I just saw a bunch of hands go up, and then you just kind of black out."
This was the second time that Steph Curry had hit the illustrious shot in his life. His hole-in-one in the 2023 tournament was just the fifth in tournament history. Curry capped off his Tournament last year with an eagle on the 18th hole to give him the win.
Curry stated last year that he has been playing golf since he was 10 years old and going into January of 2023, his handicap was +1
American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament continues to bring in Steph Curry and other fan-favorite celebrities
Many notable professional athletes have participated in the Celebrity Golf Tournament, including Aaron Rodgers, Mark Mulder, Tony Romo, Ray Allen, among others. Rick Rhoden is an 8-time champion of the American Century Tournament, while Dan Quinn has won the tournament five times.
The format of the American Century Tournament is different from a normal sanctioned PGA Tournament. It's played at 54 holes over the course of three rounds.
Scoring for the tournament uses a modified Stableford format where points are awarded by score per hole. Players will receive one point for a par, three for a birdie, and six for an eagle. Curry's hole-in-one was worth eight points. If a player double-bogey's a hole or worse, they are deducted two points.
The 2024 American Century Tournament was held July 12-14. Mardy Fish won this year with 83 points while Joe Pavelski finished second with 79 points and Annika Sorenstam third with 68.
