Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce won the 2023 Korbel Long Drive Challenge at the American Century Championship. Travis's brother Jason has won the 2024 Korbel Long Drive Challenge this year. The 35th edition of the tournament is being played at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada.

However, Jason Kelce couldn't replicate his performance in the first round. He had a disastrous performance. Starting on the front nine, Jason began with a double bogey on the first hole, then scored with par on the second hole and went on to score his lone birdie on the third hole. He scored five more double bogeys on the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th holes.

On the back nine, he scored a bogey on the 10th hole and eight double bogeys on the rest. He finished the first round with a score of 29 over 101 with -24 points. He is currently tied at T88 with Kathryn Tappen in a field of 90 players.

NFL wide receiver Adam Thielen is on the top of the leaderboard after the first round. He scored an even par 72 and has 24 points. Mardy follows him in second position with 23 points.

Travis Kelce also hit one of the spectators during the round. The fan was reportedly in her 20s and treated by the paramedics.

Earlier this week on the "New Heights" podcast, Travis Kelce was asked for advice by his brother Jason for the tournament. Travis joked (via New Heights podcast):

"My advice would be just don't feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket. It's a bunch of amateurs out there trying to play golf, so don't feel bad. People have been hit before. They got EMTs, whatever it's called, they got right there at every hole. Everybody will be fine."

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce are partnered together for the second round with Andrew Whitworth. They will tee off at 8:39 am PDT on Saturday, July 13.
