Max Homa took a playful jibe at Kevin Kisner after the latter hilariously talked about Homa's performance at the ongoing Farmers Insurance Open 2025. Homa has teed it up at this week's PGA Tour event, which started with its first round on January 22.

However, he struggled in the bunker on the first hole of the South Torrey Pines Golf Course and ended up making a triple bogey.

Following this, PGA Tour pro Kevin Kisner hilariously took a jibe at Max Homa's shot at the Farmers Insurance Open by sharing a post on X. He wrote:

"I hear @Maxhoma really paid attention @TGL last week on how to hit bunker shots for @JupiterLinksGC and applied the lesson today on his first hole!"

Homa jumped to the comments section to reply to Kisner, giving him a taste of his own medicine with a witty reply:

"Teach me how to aim it better next time plz I missed the pin by a mile"

In his comment, Kevin Kisner was referring to his hilarious shot from the second week of the TGL match. On January 14, Jupiter Links Golf Club competed against Los Angeles Golf Club. During the matchup, Kisner had a mishit in a bunker, and his shot caused his teammates Tiger Woods and Max Homa to burst into laughter.

During the press conference of the TGL on January 14, Tiger Woods opened up about the hilarious shot from Kisner, saying (via ASAP Sports):

"Well, we honestly didn't think that anyone could possibly get hit in here. But that was one of the funniest moments I've ever seen, Kis hitting that shot like that. We were just dying."

Meanwhile, Max Homa has had a relatively rough time on the greens this week at the Farmers Insurance Open.

A look into Max Homa's performance at the Farmers Insurance Open 2025

Max Homa started his game at the Torrey Pines Golf Course on the first hole on January 22, where he made a triple bogey on the hole. The American's struggles continued as he made a bogey on the fourth hole and a double bogey on the fifth hole. However, he improved and made an eagle on the sixth before ending up with a bogey on the ninth.

Homa played the round at 5-over 77 after the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open. Meanwhile, Ludvig Aberg took the lead in the game at 9-under. The PGA Tour event will have its finale on January 25.

Notably, it's the second PGA Tour event Homa is playing in the 2025 season. Previously, he played at the Sentry and played four rounds of 69, 69, 67, and 68, tying for 26th place. He then competed in the TGL series, where Jupiter Links Golf Club lost their match.
