The Augusta Masters has expanded its coverage for the 2025 tournament. The club said that there would be an increment of five hours during the tournament. Saturday's broadcast on CBS will begin an hour earlier and two hours of additional live coverage will be added on Paramount+ for the third and fourth rounds.

Further, the tournament has added Bank of America as its new "champion partner." The existing champion partners are AT&T, IBM, and Mercedes-Benz. Delta Air Lines, Rolex, and UPS will continue to be the tournament partners in 2025.

Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament said (via PR Newswire):

"The Masters Tournament has had the great fortune of enjoying an extraordinary relationship with CBS Sports for nearly 70 years. Alongside our friends at the network, we are pleased to extend the Tournament's weekend coverage and ultimately deliver more live golf for Masters fans."

The 2025 Masters tournament will be held from Thursday, April 10 to Sunday, April 13 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Talking about the partnership with Bank of America, Ridley said:

"Through Bank of America's support of our community initiatives and amateur events, they have become an impactful and committed partner in our organization's mission in Augusta and around the globe."
"Today's announcement celebrates an expansion of our relationship, and we are delighted to welcome Bank of America to our valued family of Masters Tournament partners, which together will strengthen the Tournament for many years to come," he added.

Lately, the Augusta Masters tournament has been concerned about the decrease in viewership of the tournament, especially after the 2024 tournament.

As per Golf Digest, the first round of the 2024 tournament saw an increase of 28 percent in viewers from 2023. The viewership increased from 2.5 million last year to 3.2 million this time. The second round saw an almost 69 percent increase, to 3.6 million. The viewership numbers for the first two rounds on ESPN were the best for the tournament after the 2018 Masters.

However, in the last round of the 2024 Masters, viewership saw a steep fall on CBS, as per SportsPro Media. It saw a decrease of 20 percent to 9.59 million viewers. The average viewership was down nine percent from 2023 in the last two rounds to 8.21 million average viewers.
