The Korean Championship was created in 2023 as part of the European and Korean Tours. It was held in April 2023 and sponsored by Genesis. The tournament was scheduled to be held again in 2024 but was canceled by the European Tour and merged with the Genesis Championship.

This week, European Tour players will compete at the Genesis Championship, which will also take place at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Korea. The tournament will start with its first round on Thursday, October 24, and conclude with the final round on Sunday, October 27.
