Nelly Korda posted 1-under 71 on Sunday, May 19, to win the Mizuho Americas Open, beating Hannah Green by a stroke margin. This was her 14th win on the LPGA Tour and sixth of the season.

After a little slump last week, Korda was back to her best this week at the Liberty National Golf Course and claimed her sixth title of the year. After shooting 65 in the third round, she wasn't at her best on Sunday and made four birdies while bogeying three holes. However, despite this, she played well enough to seal another victory this year. Green carded 2-under 70 but missed the playoff finish by one shot.

This was Korda's sixth win in the past seven starts. She had won five back-to-back titles before finishing T7 at last week's Cogninzant Founders Cup.
