“These woman show power”: Charley Hull gets heartfelt appreciation message from iconic golf apparel brand

English golfer Charley Hull signed on with Malbon earlier this year. Recently, the golf apparel brand took to social media to appreciate its female brand ambassadors, including the Briton.

Malbon has partnered with some strong female golfers including Gigi Stoll, Nataliya Guseva, Jeongeun Lee6, Mina Harigae, Erika Smith, and Hull. The brand commended the golfers' "dedication, passion and unstoppable drive" in a new Instagram post that included a picture carousel of all of them. The caption read:

"What an incredible year making waves and inspiring the next generation of golfers around the world. From diverse corners of the globe, these women show us the power of golf to unite us all."

The post intending to celebrate the "Team Malbon Women", further read:

"Huge congrats to our incredible athletes for their dedication, passion and unstoppable drive. You continue to redefine what it means to lead on and off the course."

When English golfer Charley Hull joined Malbon earlier this year, she seemed to be a perfect fit for the iconic brand. The 28-year-old is known for both, her passion for the game and her love for fashion.

After partnering with Malbon, Charley Hull spoke to Hypegolf in January 2024 about her new association. She was asked if she had a conversation with Malbon founders, Erika and Stephen, on the outfits she would be wearing over the year and whether she had a hand in picking her wardrobes. Hull answered:

"We’re all very fashion focused so we have lots of ideas on how to look good on and off the course. We will definitely work together to create my looks throughout the year. One thing I will say about Malbon is I can wear it on the course to play golf, and then to meet friends for coffee after. It’s so versatile which is a big positive for me."

Driving the discussion to more golf fashion, the World no. 11 was asked about her layering preferecnces during rains or low temperatures. She answered saying that Malbon had provided her with plenty of options in case of such "scenarios."

"In general I try to wear the least amount of layers that I can still feel warm in, that way I can swing freely. My key would be to wear something lightweight that gives you enough protection from the elements. Luckily Malbon have provided me with some pieces perfect for these scenarios."

The Briton takes also fashion inspiration from former tennis sensation Anna Kournikova Iglesias and actress Margot Robbie.
