Ahead of the tournament, during live coverage, analysts discussed DeChambeau's commitment to the game. Paul McGinley stated that the American is no longer interested in his LIV Golf results. Meanwhile, Brandel Chamblee stated that playing LIV Golf is a part-time job for the two-time Major winner.

Nuclr Golf shared a video of the analysts discussing Bryson DeChambeau on its X account with the caption:

"#NEW: Golf Channel analysts share some wild opinions about Bryson DeChambeau. Paul McGinley said “I don’t think he’s that interested in how he plays on LIV” and Brandel added that it’s a “part time job” for him."

Fans quickly jumped into the comments section to share their opinions, with some calling it a "pretty good" part-time job.

"Pretty good paying part time job," a fan commented.

Another fan criticized the analysts, saying their opinions would ruin the coverage of the Majors.

"They ruin the majors. Idk how anyone watches the golf channel these days. No matter if you love or hate LIV," a fan wrote.

"Expert opinions coming from two guys who’ll tell you they don’t even watch LIV," another fan jotted.

Conversely, another fan supported the analysts, claiming they were stating the facts.

"Fact and fact," another X user wrote.
