"This is happy?" - Collin Morikawa hilariously reacts to his dog's birthday mood

PGA Tour pro Collin Morikawa hilariously took a jibe at his dog Koa's mood on his birthday. The American golfer owns a Goldendoodle named Koa, who also has an Instagram page with 8,391 followers.

Recently, on Koa's fourth birthday, a post was shared on the dog's Instagram page of him sitting on a chair with a cake. Along with the picture, the caption of the post said:

"happy birthday to the happiest boy"

Hilariously, Collin Morikawa jumped to the comment section and took a jibe at the dog, writing:

"This is happy??"

In the picture, the dog appeared slightly angry. He posed with a board saying, "Happy Birthday Koa."

Morikawa's dog’s Instagram page has several pictures of him. Even on the occasion of Christmas, a picture of Koa was shared on the platform, along with a caption saying:

"since we spent so much time on this… merry christmas again."

Koa even attended the wedding of Collin Morikawa and Katherine in November 2022. He wore a black tuxedo and walked down the aisle with the couple in a stylish look.

Koa has also accompanied Morikawa on the greens, and there are several pictures on his Instagram page from golf courses. He even posed with Morikawa's 2020 PGA Championship and 2021 Open Championship trophy.

Collin Morikawa’s wife channels humor by asking their dog "about being older"

Collin Morikawa's wife Katherine also shared their dog Koa’s birthday post on her Instagram story. However, she hilariously asked the dog about his feelings about getting older.

"Tell me how you really feel about being older," she wrote.

Katherine Morikawa is also active on Instagram and has around 74.9K followers. She was a golf champion during her college days.

Katherine has an interest in marathon running, and last month, she participated in the New York City Marathon, completing 26.2 miles in 3:43:08. Following the race, Katherine shared an emotional post praising her husband for his constant support. She wrote:

"To the most supportive husband @collin_morikawa your constant encouragement kept me going and your belief in me helped me believe in myself. knowing you were out there cheering me on made all the difference. i love you more than words can say 🤍"

Collin Morikawa is currently enjoying the off-season. However, he is set to play next week at the season-opening The Sentry Tournament. The signature PGA Tour event will take place from January 2 to 5.

As it's a signature event, it only features a limited field of only 60 players. Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, and Viktor Hovland are slated to be part of the tournament.
