Tiger Woods, a 15-time Major winner, is considered to be one of the greatest athletes in history.

Woods announced on Twitter on Thursday morning that the Tampa/Wesley Chapel, Florida outpost of the golf entertainment firm will open on February 17.

From Sunday through Wednesday, 10 am to 11 pm, and from Thursday through Saturday, 10 am to midnight, PopStroke will be open.

Fans react to Tiger Woods' new PopStroke opening

Woods' fans could not hold back from commenting as soon as he tweeted about the new PopStroke.

One fan wrote that he loves these golf courses and suggested that it would be nice if the course was rougher:

"I love these courses. I was watching on TV and they were putting through the 'sand'. It would be nice if was rougher or longer to penalize cutting through the sand and make you stay in the green."

Another fan thanked Tiger Woods for starting the PopStroke business, which is fully accessible with a wheelchair:

"And as with the other PopStroke locations, one of the two 18 hole courses is fully wheelchair accessible! Thank you Tiger, PopStroke, and Tiger Woods Designs! Everyone wins when everyone has a opportunity to play."

A fan was quick to note that Woods mentioned 'tgr' instead of 'tgrdesignbytw'

"An honest error, but you quoted @tgr instead of @tgrdesignbytw"

Another commenter thanked TGR for the awesome golf course that anyone can play no matter their skill level:

"They are a lot funnier than Topgolf, they did a great job, anybody can play them.No matter what skill level. Great job team TGR"

One fan suggested that Woods set up a PopStroke golf course with The Villages, an active retirement community-based in Central Florida:

"All jokes aside, you should talk with @TheVillages about putting one of these in somewhere. We already have Arnold Palmer and Nancy Lopez designed courses here. I think you'd be pretty shocked by the response..."

This fan says that his eight-year-old child is asking to take him to Tiger Woods' new PopStroke:

"My 8 year old is already begging to go next time we are in town"

PopStroke business venture of Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods started his PopStroke venture in 2019 and saw its first debut in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Five of PopStroke's venues are located in Florida, while one is in Houston. The Tampa site of PopStroke is the company's fifth in the state. Sarasota, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Port St. Lucie all have PopStroke locations. Within the next six months, PopStroke will launch a location in Delray Beach.

The two 18-hole putting courses were built by Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team at the Tampa site. The Tiger Red Course's challenging hole placements will test even the most seasoned putters, and the Tiger Black Course offers a simpler choice for beginners and families.

Full-service restaurants, adult beverages, a playground and outdoor space for children, and even an ice cream shop are available at the location.

TaylorMade Golf Company's partnership with PopStroke, which was revealed last month, increased the company's worth to $650 million. TaylorMade joined a group of companies owned by Woods, PopStroke Entertainment Group, as well as entrepreneur and former Wall Street executive Greg Bartoli.
