After his performance in the first round of the PNC Championship, Tiger Woods had this to say to Golf Channel:

Charlie Woods, meanwhile, said he is focused on "having fun" during the second and deciding round of the PNC Championship:
"Just have fun. I think that's where I struggled. I get too focused on the game and I got to have fun."
As for the other co-leaders, Bernhard Langer and his son Jason had an eagle and 11 birdies, including the 18th hole, to tie for first with Team Woods. The Langers are the defending champions of the PNC Championship and are looking for their sixth victory at the tournament.
Meanwhile, Vijay Singh and his son Qass also had an eagle and eleven birdies, including a birdie on the 18th to tie for first. Team Singh will be looking for its second win of the tournament.
Five teams are within three shots of the lead, including Annika Sorenstam and her son Will McGee. Will is the youngest player in the field, but he had some excellent shots in the first round, especially on the putting green.

The other female professional player in the field, world number one Nelly Korda, finished the round in a tie for ninth place at 9-under. Korda and her father Petr had one eagle and seven birdies, six of which came on the front nine.
