Tiger Woods’ ex-coach reacts to Kevin Kisner’s shocking shank at the TGL – “That was amazing”

Tiger Woods' ex-coach Hank Haney has reacted to Kevin Kisner's shocking shank at the TGL. Jupiter Links Golf Club faced Los Angeles Golf Club in the second match of the newly founded tech-infused golf league on Tuesday, January 14.

During the match, Kisner made a shank shot on the 14th hole as he hit the ball straight into the flagstick on his second bunker shot. After the shot, Tiger Woods and everyone present at the SoFi Center broke into laughter.

Reacting on the shank shot, Hank Haney wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"Omg."

Popular X account, Barstool Trent also made a sarcastic remark on Kisner's performance, calling it "incredible" and said that he "stole the whole show." Quoting Trent's post, Haney joined in and quipped:

"Omg, that was amazing, what in the world is he trying to do with that swing?"

Haney coached Woods from 2004 to 2010 and helped him refine his swing. Under the 69-year-old, the former World No. 1 won 31 PGA Tour events and six Majors. Meanwhile, Kevin Kisner has won 10 titles including four on the PGA Tour. He'll be playing this week at the PGA West, Dye Stadium Course for 2025's The American Express.
