Tiger Woods' TGR Foundation has posted a heartfelt message to Los Angeles first responders in the midst of the horrific wildfires. The message also had kind words for those affected by the tragedy.

Los Angeles is battling the most disastrous bout of wildfires with numerous evacuations underway. Multiple people have lost their homes to the fire, including several celebrities like Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Leighton Meester, and Adam Brody. The death toll is currently being reported as 11. Thousands of acres of land have been burned, according to reports.

Tiger Woods' TGR foundation took to X to share a message that read:

"Our hearts are with our Los Angeles community and all impacted by the devastation of the wildfires."

The post expressed gratitude towards the first responders, saying:

"Our hearts are with our Los Angeles community and all impacted by the devastation of the wildfires. We are grateful for the tireless efforts of first responders and everyone working diligently to help our neighbours navigate this tragedy."

PGA Tour consider moving the Tiger Woods-hosted Genesis Invitational amid LA wildfires

PGA Tour is reportedly considering moving the Tiger Woods-hosted Genesis Invitational from the Riviera Country Club to an alternative site amid LA wildfires.

Joel Beall of Gold Digest said via MSN:

"Even if the course and club remain untouched, a number of issues may prevent Riviera from hosting next month. There are the logistical problems of getting players, tournament officials and fans through Pacific Palisades as recovery efforts are underway. Lodging will likely be a problem with hotels putting up those who lost their residences,"

Although the Genesis Invitational is a month away in mid-February, most of the neighborhood has been destroyed. Fan movement will be difficult to manage. According to reports, TPC Scottsdale may be considered to host the event as well as the WM Phoenix Open.

"As for alternative sites, the TPC Scottsdale, which is hosting the WM Phoenix Open the week before the Genesis, could pull double duty. Two sources familiar with the tour’s early discussions told Golf Digest playing two straight weeks in Mexico, which is set to host the week after Riviera, is highly unlikely," Beall said via MSN.

NFL, NHL, and NBA have already either moved or postponed their games. NFL moved the Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams Monday playoff game to Arizona. NHL and NBA have postponed their Kings and Lakers games, respectively.

If Genesis Invitational also moves, the PGA Tour would be the latest sports league to do so.
