Tiger Woods competed in the 2024 PNC Championship with his son Charlie and finished runner-up. During the pre-round press conference, Woods talked about Charlie's success playing against him recently.

A journalist questioned Tiger and asked how often Charlie has beaten him, as Luke Leonard mentioned witnessing the moment Charlie won against Tiger.

"Yeah, he beat me for nine holes, has yet to beat me for 18 holes yet," Tiger revealed.

However, he said that day is coming, and he is just prolonging it as long as possible.

"That day is coming; I'm just prolonging it as long as I possibly can. But we just have so much fun going out there and competing and playing. That day being out there with Lenny, Charlie, and JL, I go way back to junior golf, amateur golf, college golf, and all the teams we made together over the years," Woods said.

Tiger Woods is still not tournament-fit as he is battling injuries after meeting a solo car crash in February 2021. Post-2010, he has not been at his best as he underwent regular surgeries and rehab that affected his on-course game.

Woods has won just three tournaments since 2014, including a major championship, The Masters, in 2019.

A brief look back at Tiger Woods' performance on the PGA Tour

Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers of all time with 82 PGA Tour wins and 15 major championship victories. He made his debut in 1996 and immediately made an impact on the Tour.

Woods won his first tournament in 1996 at the Las Vegas Invitational. His best season on the PGA Tour came in 2000, where he registered nine wins, including three major championships.

During the pre-round press conference at the 2024 PNC Championship, Woods talked about his incredible winning streak in 2000.

"Yeah, that was a good stretch. I played well in that stretch. Once I pieced it together in May of '99 is when it started to unfold, getting the PGA in '99, then I won three in that year, in 2000. Yes, I got on a hot run that summer," Tiger said (via ASAP Sports).

He dominated the PGA Tour until 2010 and looked all set to break Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championship wins. However, injuries held him back, and he currently has 15 major championship victories so far.
