Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy sell beer for $12 as TGL food menu comes to light

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's much-anticipated TGL kicked off on January 7. The tech-infused league attracted fans with its one-of-a-kind setup, offering a unique experience. Food and drinks were available at the SoFi Center for fans to fully enjoy the event.

On Tuesday, Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal shared a photograph of TGL's food and beverage menu on social media. According to the menu, the food options included hot dogs, cheeseburgers, pretzels, and guacamole, with prices ranging from $8 to $14.

The drinks menu featured a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. In the non-alcoholic section, soda and sports drinks were available, while beer and cocktails were the highlights of the alcoholic section. Domestic and imported beer was priced at $12 per 16 ounces, while craft beer cost $14 per 16-ounce portion.

White Claw is available in Black Cherry and Mango flavors and is priced at $18 per 12 ounces. The 36&Oak cocktail selection features options such as Vodka Cranberry, Vodka Lemonade, Classic Margarita, and Tequila Paloma, with each priced at $18. The House cocktail, served in a 12-ounce portion, is available for $12.

The Bay Golf Club GC secured a commanding 9-2 victory over the New York Golf Club GC in the opening match of the TGL. Bay Golf won five of the first nine holes, which were played in a triples format, while New York managed to win just one. Bay Golf maintained their dominance in the singles format, winning three of the five holes, while New York claimed only one.

The next match will feature Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links GC competing against Los Angeles GC on Tuesday, January 14.
