Tiger Woods was recently spotted hugging musician DJ Khaled at the first event held by TMRW Sports' TGL on January 7, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The photographs of these two celebrities are doing the rounds on social media.

In the picture, Woods could be seen sporting a white drawstring pullover on top of black trousers and a matching white cap. Both were from his clothing and sports apparel brand, Sun Day Red. Khaled was seen sporting a black blazer on top of a white tee. The rapper and the PGA Tour legend had a short but brief meet and greet session at the TGL event. Sky Sports posted the picture on their official X account as below:

Khaled is considered an iconic musician and is a popular hip-hop artist. His appearance at the TGL event and meeting with Woods attracted a lot of spotlight. For years, Khaled has been a prominent record producer and American DJ. The entertainment industry knows him for bringing in superstars and high-profile names in his singles or videos. As reported by Celebrity Net Worth, he holds a massive net worth of $95 million. Tagging Tiger Woods, DJ Khaled also posted a series of pictures on Instagram with the caption:

"@tigerwoods x @djkhaled @tglgolf tune in now @espn @sportscenter LETS GO GOLFING @wethebest|GOLF 2025"

Apart from his appearance at the first event of this indoor golf league, Khaled is an investor in TMRW Sports. With fellow musicians like Justin Bieber, Macklemore, Justin Timberlake and Darius Rucker, Khaled invested in this sports and entertainment company.

Back in May 2023, Mike McCarley explained how music heavyweights like DJ Khaled can influence the golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the former ESPN executive said:

"Golf is thriving from a surge in cultural relevance that spans generations and demographic groups. These entertainers come from different walks of life and have different fan bases, but all share a real passion for golf and, in their own ways, can introduce golf to new fans. Their addition rounds out the collective expertise and reach of the TMRW Sports investor group across finance, sports business, technology, and media."

The technology-integrated indoor golf league by Woods and McIlroy had its first day at the SoFi Center in West Palm Beach. On January 7, 2025, the Tomorrow Golf League started with a match between the Bay Golf Club and the New York Golf Club. With entrance themes and custom announcements in WWE style, golfers from the two teams entered the arena. Shane Lowry, Ludvig Åberg and Wyndham Clark scored a 9-2 victory over Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler.

Tiger Woods, along with Rory McIlroy was spotted attending the event in the spectator's arena. Woods will be teeing off along with his team Jupiter Links Golf Club against the Los Angeles Golf Club on January 14, 2025. McIlroy and his team, Boston Common Golf, will be facing his TMRW Sports co-founder on January 27, 2025.

Although Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods did not tee off in the inaugural match, TGL achieved an impressive viewership record. As reported by Front Office Sports, Nielsen reported 919,000 viewers in TGL’s opening match during the 9 pm to 11 pm ET broadcast session on ESPN.
