Tommy Fleetwood commits to DP World Tour’s Dubai Desert Classic

Tommy Fleetwood recently committed to DP World Tour's Dubai Desert Classic for next year. The 33-year-old had a great 2024 season where he finished seventh in the Race to Dubai rankings.

The official page of the tournament announced the inclusion of Fleetwood in an Instagram post on Tuesday, November 26. Fleetwood later shared the post on his Instagram story as a form of acknowledgment. The caption of the post read:

"Game on! 🎯 Watch Tommy Fleetwood take on the course at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in 2025! See you soon 🏌️ @officialtommyfleetwood #HeroDubaiDesertClassic #RolexSeries"

Talking about the inclusion in the 2025 Dubai Desert Classic, the seven-time European Tour winner said (via European Tour):

"I always enjoy starting my season in the Middle East and having played the Hero Dubai Desert Classic every year since I came out on Tour, it’s become a tournament that I love," Fleetwood said. "I'm looking forward to teeing it up close to home in front of friends and family once again."

The 2024 Dubai Desert Classic was won by Rory McIlroy by one stroke over Adrian Meronk, while Fleetwood tied for 14th at the tournament. He has a great record at the tournament. Here's a look at his past performances in the tournament:
