Top 5 US Team players with the best Presidents Cup record

Let's look at the top 5 US players with the best Presidents Cup record:

This will be Max Homa's second appearance at the Presidents Cup. He competed in the 2022 President Cup. He won all four matches and gave his team crucial four points. The USA won the tournament by 17.5-12.5.

Homa was paired with Tony Finau in his Thursday foursome match in the 2022 Presidents Cup against Taylor Pendrith. Finau and Homa won by 1 up. The pair won another foursome match by 4&3 against Si Woo Kim and Cameron Davis.

"Max plays his best on the biggest stages, and that was on full display at the 2022 Presidents Cup and 2023 Ryder Cup. He was an emotional leader for both teams and someone who rallied the 11 players around him time and again, and I can’t wait to have him represent the U.S. again in Montreal."

#2 Xander Schauffele: 6-3-0

This will be Xander Schauffle's third appearance at the Presidents Cup. He participated in 2019 and 2022. In 2019, he played five matches winning three and losing two, making his record 3-2-0 at the tournament. The USA won by 16-14. In 2022, he played four and won three, making his record 3-1-0. The USA won by 17.5-12.5.

#3 Patrick Cantlay: 6-3-0

Cantlay will be playing his third edition too. He played in the 2019 and 2022 Presidents Cups. He has a record similar to Schauffele's. In 2019, he lost both his fourball matches and won his two foursomes and a singles match, making his record 3-2-0. In 2022, he won his singles and foursomes matches. He lost one of the two fourball matches, making his record 3-1-0 for that event.

#4 Tony Finau: 3-2-3

Tony Finau will be competing in his third Cup. He has competed in 2019 and 2022. In 2019, he had a record of 0-1-3. In 2022, he had an overall record of 3-1-0.

Picking Finau, Furyk said:

"Tony is one of the best ball-strikers on the PGA TOUR and his game pairs well with any of the other 11 players given his consistency. He has become a stalwart in U.S. team competition and carries himself with a fun, outgoing demeanor which is contagious on the course and in the team room."

#5 Keegan Bradley: 2-2-1

Bradley will be competing in his second Presidents Cup after a decade. His lone participation came in 2013. He contributed 2.5 points and helped the USA win by 18.5-15.5.

Picking Bradley, Furyk said:

“When I named Keegan as a captain’s assistant for the Presidents Cup I knew there was a chance he would play his way onto the U.S. Team, and I can say without a doubt he did just that."
"The grit he showed in the final round in Memphis followed by the win in Denver exemplified the competitive nature he has always played with, and I know he will bring that same fire to Royal Montreal in a few weeks," he added.
