Harris English had won his fifth PGA Tour event at the recently concluded Farmers Insurance Open 2025. The tournament had its final round on Saturday, January 25, at the Torrey Pines Golf Course.

The 35-year-old played a round of 73 in the finale to register a one-stroke win over Sam Stevens. The PGA Tour shared a congratulatory text on the incredible win for Harris English on its X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:

"A winner at Torrey Pines 🏆 @Harris_English earns his fifth TOUR title @FarmersInsOpen!"

Fans jumped to the comment section to congratulate English.

"Tough conditions and worthy Champ English," a fan wrote.
"Great to see Harris English take a win," another fan commented.
"Excellent job Harris. Liked how you stuck around and got this done - well played!" One more added.

Meanwhile, some fans reflected on their disappointment with the slow play of the tournament.

"Not the most exciting tournament but solid play and a popular win. Dude is a class guy," one more fan wrote.
"5 hours and 39 minutes to play a round of golf is fucking ridiculous. They need to start enforcing pace of play with stroke penalties," a fan wrote.
"Sad that you've lost so many fans, I only watch Majors now. Pace of play, lack of stars, etc," another fan said.
