Paige Spiranac recently shared 'first drafts' of the names of her new segment on SportsGrid. The 31-year-old golf influencer shared the details in a video on her X account.

Spiranac has signed a multi-year deal with the sports betting-focused TV network. She'll be hosting exclusive casino-themed shows on the network. In a recent video on X, she asked her followers for feedback on her trademark on the show. She said:

"So as you guys know, I'm working with Sports Grid and you know, I feel like it's really important that I have my own thing, like my trademark, my identity, my bit, you know? And so I've jotted down some ideas and I really want your feedback on what you think is the best one."

Talking about the trademarks, she further said:

"We of course could do walking wagers, but I really feel like I can amp this up. Running run down anyone? Bad beats and booty cheeks, eh? Jumping jacks and blackjack. Spreads and squats. Underdogs with underbo**s."

Paige Spiranac asked her followers to comment with their favorite choices or suggestions on any she might have missed.

Spiranac's golf journey started at the age of 12. She played golf at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University. She turned professional in 2015 and played on the Cactus Tour. However, she turned to creating golf content after she failed to earn an LPGA Tour card.

Paige Spiranac simplify hybrids, fairway woods and long irons for beginners

Paige Spiranac, one of the top golf influencers, recently simplified hybrids, fairway woods, and long irons for beginners in a recent video on her YouTube channel. Spiranac explained it as a part of her YouTube series "The Beginner's Guide to Starting Golf."

In the series, she explained golf clubs, driving ranges, golf course grass, and hazards. At the beginning of the recent video, she explained why most golfers prefer five iron. She said:

"Most people only carry up to about a five iron. Better players like to hit a four or a three iron. They're harder to hit because, again, there's no loft, and to be able to get it up into the air, you have to have a really fast swing speed to do so."

Spiranc then said that beginners should not get discouraged if they don't possess the swing speed needed for long irons. She said many professional golfers opted for hybrids or fairway woods instead of three or four irons. The 31-year-old said that she uses Fairway Woods.

"So I only have fairway woods, but a hybrid is between a wood and an iron. This is a fairway wood. This is my seven wood, and it has, as you can see, a bigger head, a smaller face, but it still has the same setup with the hosel, the shaft, and the grip," she added.

Paige Spiranac mentioned that her fairway wood is longer in comparison to her five iron. She also clarified that a hybrid falls between the two, with a head size smaller than the fairway wood but larger than the iron.

At the end of the video, she said that she prefers fairway woods and beginners can choose on their personal preferences after practice and experience. She shared that her club setup includes a 7-wood, a 5-wood, and a 3-wood.
