For the unversed, Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open in 2020. The LIV golfer is now close to clinching his second major title. Having finished top 10 at the Masters in April and runner-up by one shot at last month’s PGA Championship, the ace golfer will be eyeing a big comeback this weekend.
Notably, he is also the only player to post three straight rounds of 60s in a US Open outing at Pinehurst No. 2. However, he will face tough competition from the likes of Ludvig Aberg and Rory McIlroy on Sunday.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Swede, making his tournament debut, or the four-time major winner McIlroy will manage to stop DeChambeau’s run in the $21,500,000 million prize event.
