Viktor Hovland details his 'super obnoxious' celebration plans if he wins at the Paris Olympics

Viktor Hovland is set to represent Norway for the second time at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Hovland seemed to be in great spirits ahead of the tournament and spoke about what he would do if he won the gold medal at Le Golf National.

In an interview before the men's golf event on August 1st, the Norwegian golfer said if he wins a medal, the medal would have to wait for a bit. Hovland was quoted as saying:

"Well, I am planning on going from here to the States. So the medal would have to wait for a little bit until I go back home, sometime in the fall. Yeah, it would be cool to wear it proudly and walk down the street everywhere I go in a super obnoxious way but it would be great."

Hovland has had a mixed 2024 season so far. His best finish came at The PGA Championship where he finished third, but he missed the cut in the three other Major championships this season.

It will be interesting to see how Hovland performs at the Olympics for Norway. The men's golf event at Le Golf National is set to begin on August 1 and will conclude on August 4.
