LIV Golf fans celebrated Bryson DeChambeau's incredible victory at the 2024 US Open. The American golfer won the second major of his career at the recently concluded tournament held at the Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Course. He delivered an exemplary performance throughout the event, securing a one-stroke victory over Rory McIlroy.

Bryson DeChambeau, who joined LIV Golf in 2022, has performed well in all the majors he played this year, recording top-10 finishes before winning the US Open.

The LIV Golf League congratulated him on its X (formerly Twitter) account by sharing an amazing post with the caption:

"Your 2024 U.S. Open Champion, @b_dechambeau🏆@usopengolf."

Fans jumped into the comments section to praise the star golfer and took jibes at those who called LIV Golf an exhibition series.

"Wasn't LIV an exhibition league?" wrote a fan.

One fan noted that even though DeChambeau was ranked No. 38 in the world, he displayed a fabulous performance.

"Not bad for no.38 in the world...Go @b_dechambeau!!" commented another fan.

It is important to note that as DeChambeau plays on the Saudi circuit, he did not receive OWGR points, and his world ranking has constantly declined. He was ranked No. 4 in the world back in 2021.

Over the years, his ranking slipped, but his victory at the US Open helped him bounce back, earning 100 ranking points and jumping from 38th to 10th in the world.

Another fan lauded DeChambeau for his box-office performance.

"Unbelievable performance by Bryson, so proud of how he handled all the adversity today. Well deserved!!!!" jotted another fan.

Meanwhile, someone commented on DeChambeau winning the major on Father's Day.

"A true champion. Great to see such a great guy win on Father’s Day!" commented a fan.

The American golfer lost his father in 2022 after a long battle with kidney failure. DeChambeau was very close to his dad, and before the final round of the 2024 US Open, he admitted to dedicating every shot of the final round to his father. Fortunately, the golfer managed to take home the trophy on Father's Day.
