WATCH: A Lim Kim’s hole-in-one to take the lead at LPGA's Lotte Championship

A Lim Kim from Korea scored an impressive ace at the 2024 Lotte Championship. The LPGA Tour tournament is being played at Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Hawaii from Wednesday, November 6 to 9, 2024.

In the third round, on the 140-yard par-3 ninth hole, Kim made a precise connection and carded an ace from her tee shot. In the video posted by the LPGA Tour, Kim, dressed in white attire, is seen following through with the swing, as the ball soars towards the target and ultimately lands in the hole.

She is seen celebrating the ace with her hands in the air and later fist-bumping with her caddie. LPGA Tour shared the clip of the ace and wrote on X:

"Worth the watch!! A Lim Kim regains the lead with an ACE on No. 9"

This was her second ace as her first one had come in the third round of the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship. Talking about the ace, Kim said (via ESPN):

"Calculate number and then chose line and then hit it. I think 99% lucky. Every tournament I think same -- focus on my line and then hit it. That's it. Any result, I don't care."

After the third round, A Lim Kim is on the top of the leaderboard with a score of -14. She scored 66, 69, and 67 in the first three rounds. If she manages to win the Lotte Championship, it'll be her second victory on the LPGA Tour after her victory at the 2020 US Women's Open.
