Adam Hadwin has opened the 2025 PGA Tour season with the first official shot of the year at the Sentry in Hawaii. The Canadian golfer hit the fairway at the Kapalua Plantation Course where the tournament is currently underway.

The Sentry is the first event of the year on the PGA Tour calendar. This season, the tournament began on January 2nd and will wrap up on the first weekend of 2025. The 60-player field boasts of several top names including Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, Akshay Bhatia, Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa among others. The event has a $20,000,000 prize purse with the winner taking home $3,600,000.

Adam Hadwin is currently ranked T3 behind Tom Hoge and Harry Hall in the ongoing Round 1 of the Sentry. He has carded a score of 3-under so far. The 37-year-old was a part of the first tee group along with Hoge and Chris Gotterup.
