The 13th hole on the final day is a 338-yard par 4, making it a straightforward hole. However, no one has attempted to drive the green apart from Tosti throughout the week since it is an island green.

The tournament has witnessed birdies and eagles, but Tosti became the first golfer this week to drive the green and then hole out for an eagle. Tosti is known for his powerful tee shots, as he is 7th on the PGA Tour's driving distance.

Despite a bogey on the 12th hole, the Argentinian golfer took his driver and, without any hesitation, went for the green. The wind direction was also favourable as with his powerful swing, he generated a ball speed of 180mph, and to everyone's surprise, successfully got the ball just 6 feet away from the pin.

Tosti then completed a straightforward eagle putt to get to -2 for the day and carded even par for the tournament to conclude his round at the 2024 PGA Championship.

After two rounds, Tosti was in a decent position as he remained -5 for the tournament and made it to the weekend. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old golfer had a forgettable moving day round as he carded 79, which ended his dream run at the Valhalla Club.
