"I'm not worried about him," - When Anthony Mackie hit back at Tom Holland for criticizing his golf skills
A couple of years ago, Tom Holland trolled Anthony Mackie's golf skills, saying that Mackie's game was the worst among his Marvel co-stars.
"I played with Chris Pratt quite a few times," he said as per Cinemablend. "I know that Don [Cheadle] plays. I think [Anthony] Mackie plays, but Mackie's probably f*****g terrible".
Later, Mackie hit back at the Spider-Man star and questioned his driving skills.
"Tom Holland talks a lot about it, but he don't hit the ball that far," he said during the IMDB interview. "We've played before and I out-drove him by 40, 50 yards. I'm not worried about him. Don Cheadle is sneaky good.
"The reason I started playing golf was because of Sam Jackson, so I've never been able to beat him. I could probably beat everyone except Sam. And Don is just too competitive, man. Don is the type of dude that'll put something in your bag to mess up your game just to sabotage you. I'm going to beat Sam Jackson. And I know for a fact that I can beat Tom Holland, especially with my new clubs. I'm unstoppable."
Mackie has been part of several Pro-Ams in the past. He also competed in last year's Sony Open Pro-Am. Besides, he has also competed in several celebrity events, such as the DJ Irie Weekend Golf Tournament (2017) and the One For The Boys Golf Tournament (2016).
