The afternoon fourball session of the 2024 Solheim Cup had an action-packed start as Alison Lee and Megan Khang's caddies took off their shirts after an eagle hole out on the second hole.
Alison Lee and Megan Khang are paired for the afternoon fourball session. They are taking on Anna Nordqvist and Madelene Sagstrom. After landing a great tee shot on the fairway, Lee had around 86 yards remaining to the hole. The 29-year-old golfer judged the distance and line to perfection and got the ball in the hole to card an eagle from the fairway.
The backstory of caddies taking their shirts off is on the second hole, Megan Khang's caddie said $500 for any hole outs today. However, Alison Lee denied this offer and said if they hole out, both caddies should take their shirts off. So this hole out from the fairway led to great cheers from the fans and Alison Lee and Megan Khang's caddies as they took off their shirt in excitement and hugged each other.
Team Europe's golfers couldn't do much after that as they lost the hole since their second shot was on the green, and the best they could score from there was a birdie.
