WATCH: Charlie Woods hilariously asked to 'sub in' for his father Tiger at the TGL

Tiger Woods's son Charlie was asked to 'sub in' for his father at the TGL on Tuesday, January 14. Woods' TGL team, Jupiter Links Golf Club (JUP) faced Los Angeles Golf Club (LA) in the second match of the new tech-infused golf league.

Apart from Woods, Jupiter Links Golf Club consisted of Max Homa and Kevin Kisner. When Woods' team was trailing 6-1 after eight holes, Kisner hilariously asked Charlie if he would like to 'sub in' for his father. He said:

"Charlie, you want to come play? Come sub in, man. Bring in the righty"

However, there was no relief for the Tiger Woods' led team which got defeated by 12-1 against Los Angeles Golf Club in a dominating display. Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala, and Collin Morikawa competed for Los Angeles as Tommy Fleetwood was substituted for the match.

Talking about the TGL experience, Rose said (via TGL):

"I'm a guy on the golf course that’s very much, ‘quiet, please,’ ‘still, please,’ ... for me, this was very, very different. I think it’s actually gonna be good for me to deal with this."

With two matches held, TGL will play 13 more matches before the playoffs. The next match will be played next week between New York Golf Club and Atlanta Drive GC.
