On Tuesday, January 7, DJ Khaled attended the first match of the much-anticipated TGL as a guest. During the event, he spoke about his experience at the SoFi Center and claimed to have nailed his putts. He also mentioned making a no-look putt inspired by Tiger Woods.

An X user named Sandy Plashkes shared a clip of the conversation, where DJ Khaled makes several claims.

"It was incredible," he replied on the question of his experience at SoFi Center. "First of all, I don't know if they're going to play the high knife, but I nailed all my putts, right? I hit a great, great drive. And then my putts, my play, the one that went down the hill with the no look. And then, ohh, I was inspired by Tiger Woods on that one."
"I was inspired by Tiger Woods when I putted it," he added. "I just walked away. I knew what he was in. She's gone."

Khaled further stated that golf was all about confidence and that was enough to make one unstoppable. The interviewer had some doubt on this claim but Khaled was firm on his theory and assured him that confidence was the key. However, he also gave another piece of advice.

"But also, if you want to be competitive, I have a saying: bring two bags, a golf bag and a brown paper bag," he concluded.
