Bryson DeChambeau won his second US Open in five years this week at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club Number 2 course. Having shot the same six under par 274 score as in 2020, DeChambeau records another one in the books after taking home a massive check worth $4.3 million.

The LIV Golf star said in a post-round interview with the US Open that he plans on drinking chocolate milk to commemorate the victory. However, videos that emerged of Bryson DeChambeau last night suggest otherwise. In a video shared by Barstool Sports, the 2024 US Open winner can be seen hitting bombs into the night sky with glow in the dark golf balls.

The US Open trophy can be seen sitting next to him adorned with glow in the dark golf balls. As he smashes the drive, a group of people behind him can be heard cheering Bryson DeChambeau on as he does his signature celebratory move. The video shared by Barstool Sports suggests that the video caption is what the winner said prior to the shot. Here's what Bryson DeChambeau said,

"Little drunk, let's see how I swing this drunk."

During his press conference, Bryson DeChambeau said that he intends on partying that night but without drinking alcohol. With videos on social media indicating otherwise, here's what the LIV Golf star said:

"No partying for me though, [ I mean ] no drinking for me. I'll party but I won't drink. It's just not my style. [ I'm ] drinking all the chocolate milk there is though."

Bryson DeChambeau 2024 US Open Payout and More

With odds of +1800 to win according to BetMGM, Bryson DeChambeau takes home a massive slice of the $21.5 million purse prize at the 2024 US Open. His stellar performance earned him a grand check worth $4.3 million.

The $700,000 increase in prize money from last year's edition of the event, is not good news to just DeChambeau but also to his caddie, Gregory Bodine. It has been a longstanding tradition that the caddie of the winning player receives a 10 percent cut from the player's earnings. It is estimated that Gregory Bodine took home a record salary of $430,000.

Another sweet perk that comes with winning the US Open is that the winner will also receive FedEx Cup points. Despite a whopping 750 FedEx Cup Points up for grabs this week, DeChambeau will not be receiving the points as he is deemed ineligible due to his status as a player in the LIV Golf league.

However, the Crushers GC captain walks away from the Pinehurst No. 2 course with a 10-year exemption into the US Open and a five-year exemption into the three other Major championships - the Augusta Masters, the PGA Championship, and the Open Championship.

DeChambeau's next appearance is scheduled to be next week at the LIV Golf Invitational in Nashville, Tennessee.
