TGL is set to launch this evening. After a roof collapse pushed Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's league back a year, it's finally about to commence. It is said to be about to redefine how golf can be played and will make great use of cutting-edge technology.

Ahead of the first official use of the technology, one golf insider took his followers on a tour of the arena and showcased all the impressive features the league has to offer its golfers and fans.

Jamie Kennedy took a tour, showing off the So-Fi Center that he described as "golf inside a hockey stadium." The screen that golfers will hit into and displays the virtual hole is huge, as it dwarfed Kennedy who stands over six feet tall.

The green that players will utilize can rotate and change the slope to perfectly match any hole the league needs it to. Kennedy putted the same ball twice, but the shift in slope made the outcomes entirely different.

A spotlight shows off on the green where the shot landed on the virtual simulator, so players like Keegan Bradley or Collin Morikawa can put their golf ball on the right spot and putt it from there. Kennedy left impressed with the facility and all the unique technological advantages it brings to the table.

What is the TGL schedule?

Fans will get a chance to watch TGL in action on a weekly basis. For the most part, there's one match per week with a few exceptions. The league debuts tonight, January 7, at 7 pm EST, but after that, there are matches every Tuesday into March.
