WATCH: DP World shares green staff's "incredible job" to turn Le Golf National playable a day after being flooded

The 2024 FedEx Open de France is being held at the Le Golf National in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France. The tournament has begun and will be held from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13.

Ahead of the tournament, Le Golf National was hammered by heavy rain on Wednesday. The rains left fairways and green waterlogged. Water covered vast portions of the course, leaving visible puddles across the course as play seemed impossible.

However, the golf course has become playable all due to the efforts of the green staff at Le Golf National. DP World Tour's official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a video showing the greens before and after the staff's work, and praised their efforts, saying,

"What a difference a day makes! The green staff at Le Golf National have done an incredible job to make the course playable after over 50mm of rainfall in just 12 hours on Wednesday."

The wet greens will make the play challenging for golfers teeing off at the Le Golf National for the 2024 Open de France. As per Accuweather.com, the weather during the tournament will vary across all four rounds.
