The Hero World Challenge 2024 is being played at the Albany Resort and will conclude on Sunday, December 8. The Albany Resort is a dream venue for many golfers, offering an experience unlike any other.
On Saturday, December 7, Dan Rapaport of Scratch shared a glimpse of the luxurious Albany Resort from the inside. All the players stay at the resort for the week during the tournament, enjoying the luxury without a care for the bill.
"Look at this house right here! This massive thing just sprung up in the last two years; it didn't even exist before," Rapaport said in the video. "You see these massive mega-mansions all over the place. Yeah, let's just say they’re not cheap.
Rapaport also mentioned golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Rose, who lived in Albany for a while. Further, Tiger Woods owns property in this exclusive community.
"They even have a school in this community," he further said in the video. "You actually can’t really see the ocean from the golf course because they saved all the oceanfront property for the houses. That’s my professional opinion—I don’t have that officially on the record."

Who is leading at the Hero World Challenge after the third round?
Following the third round of the Hero World Challenge, Justin Thomas shot a 6-under 66, moving up one spot to secure a 54-hole, one-stroke lead. He is now at 17-under, one shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler, who carded a 3-under 69 in the third round.
Thomas is seeking his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship, although a victory at Albany would not count as an official PGA Tour win. Speaking during the post-round interview, Thomas expressed satisfaction with his driving performance.
"I've had a lot of confidence with it," he said. "I feel like I've been able to put myself in some pretty good spots going into the green. I'm still not taking advantage of some of them as much as I would like, but that's golf and we're always going to say that."
Tom Kim jumped seven spots on Saturday after firing a low 62 in the third round of the Hero World Challenge. After shooting 74 in the first round, he shot a bogey-free 65 in the second round and then picked up twelve birdies on Day 3 to aggregate at 15-under.
Keegan Bradley was four strokes back at 13-under after shooting 68. Sahith Theegala carded 66 and was tied for fifth alongside Akshay Bhatia who slipped three spots after shooting 71.
