Jay Monahan will partner BMW PGA Championship winner Billy Horschel for the first round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The duo is paired with PIF Governor Yasir Al Rumayyan and Dean Burmester and will tee off on Thursday at 4 am ET from the 10th tee of Carnoustie.

Eugenio Chacarra, Beltran Gomez-Acebo, Joakim Lagergren, and Mark Madden will be the first group to tee off on the first hole of Carnoustie. Hudson Swafford, Peter Uihlein, Scott Mahoney, and Jeff Kelter will begin from the first tee at St. Andrews, while Pablo Larrazabal, Allan Stanton, Branden Grace, and Shaun Seeliger will be the opening group from the tenth hole.

Jens Dantorp, Drew Fleming, Sebastian Friedrichsen, and Tom Hartley Jr. will be the first group to tee off from Hole 1 of Kingsbarns, while Matthias Schwab, Alan Quasha, Fabrizio Zanotti, and Bob Israel will start from the 10th tee.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is played in a slightly different format than the usual golf tournaments. The DP World Tour's premier event features both professionals and amateurs. While professionals compete for the individual title and prize money, they also participate in the team event alongside family members and other amateurs.

Among the notable names, Rory McIlroy is partnering his father Gerry, while defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick is playing alongside his mother Sue. The tournament also includes 14 players from the LIV Golf circuit, including the likes of Brooks Koepka, Tyrrell Hatton, and Jon Rahm.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will feature 168 players competing for $5,000,000 in prize money, and the winner will bag an $850,000 share.
