John Catlin is playing in the LIV Golf UK for the Crushers GC team captained by Bryson DeChambeau. Catlin made one of the most spectacular plays of the day with an ace on the sixth hole.

The play occurred on the island green, 244-yard, par-3 17th hole. Catlin struck his tee shot with an iron and managed to place the ball right on the edge of the slope behind the pin. The ball rolled down the slope and into the hole, becoming Catlin's first ace on the course.

The moment was captured on the television coverage of the event and then posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the official LIV Golf account. The video clip had more than 23,500 views in less than an hour.

John Catlin has played the last three LIV Golf events at Crushers GC, filling in for the injured Charles Howell III. He has consistently finished in the top 25 and his best finish has been a tie for seventh in Nashville.

This season, John Catlin has won two events on the Asian Tour, the International Series Macau and the Saudi Open. He currently leads the Asian Tour Order of Merit, which would earn him a permanent spot on LIV Golf for the 2025 season.
