Fans got reminded of John Daly and his son's funny TV commercial for Beard Hedger, posted on January 18, 2023. The veteran PGA Tour pro golfer and Daly II teamed up for the release of the new beard styling tool by Manscaped.
In the video, Daly could be seen standing right in the middle of the golf course. His son could be seen leaning with his arm on the side of their golf buggy and casually introducing the new trimmer to his father. Golf Digest tweeted a part of the advertisement commercial on their X account on January 13, 2025. Sharing the throwback video of John Daly and his son with fans and X users, Golf Digest wrote:
"This John Daly commercial with his son is an absolute classic."
Both father and son make a popular unit, especially for their teamwork on the golf course. Their chemistry is widely considered to be remarkable, mainly after their PNC Championship title win in 2021. In the full commercial, there is a hilarious moment when the veteran golfer mixes up the trimmer with something else.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! It's not for down there. The Beard Hedger is for your face," clarifies Daly II.
"Oh really? .... Grip it and trim it, baby," says John Daly.

Daly II made his professional debut with the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour, where he finished the tournament with a score of 148 (+4). The 21-year-old was an athlete under the Arkansas Razorbacks, where his father also played.
