Megan Khang is gearing up for the FM Championship after missing the cutline at the Women's Open Championship. The FM Championship will start on August 29 at TPC Boston. Before the event teed off in Boston, she was invited to throw the ceremonial pitch for the Boston Red Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays MLB game. A tweet of her throwing the ceremonial pitch was uploaded on X by LPGA Tour.

In the clip, the golfer is warming up to throw the first pitch of the baseball game. LPGA tagged her and said:

“It’s safe to say @megan_khang1023 (Megan Khang's X handle) is all warmed up to throw the first pitch @RedSox 💪"

Khang is wearing a Boston Red Sox shirt paired with white shorts.

Besides Megan Khang, several other celebrities threw ceremonial pitches at the MLB games. In 2024, Sahith Theegala threw the ceremonial pitch for a Houston Astros game against the New York Yankees at a Saturday match.

Another celebrity, Paige Spiranac, threw the pitch before the New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Brewers game in 2022. That was her first experience doing so in blue skinny jeans and a white top layered with a Brewers’ jersey.
