Kids recently roasted Max Homa at the 2024 TGR JR Invitational. The tournament's third edition was held from October 11 to 14 at The Hay and The Links at Spanish Bay.
Homa's roasted video was posted by their social media handle on TGR Live on Monday, October 28. In the video, the kids are shown various shots of the PGA Tour golfer as they react to them while Homa is now reviewing their reactions.
At the beginning of the video, one kid bluntly commented, "It goes straight, Carlton." Another remarked, "Oh, this one's like my grandma." Homa broke out in laughter and admitted:
"This is gonna be tough to listen to. Unfortunately, I can relate."
While watching another shot, one kid offered Homa some advice:
"I didn't like how he turned his club face. I think he should have just kept it straight forward."
Homa responded that he'd write it down. One of the kids critiqued Homa's swing and said, "That's just like a 10 handicap goal." Another said, "He's swinging like baseball." One kid even said, "He just shanked that."
Responding to the criticism over his stance, swing and grip, Homa said:
"This is tough to relive and also listen to a bunch of kids that are better than me at golf."
On one shot, one of the kids said: "Shunk the heck out of it, but that was a pretty dumb one." Responding to it, Homa said: "That Hurts."
At the end of the video, Max Homa acknowledged one of his bad shots:
"That's a fair. You can laugh at that one. That's fair. Sat on some grass. Thank you. That was great."
