WATCH: Nelly Korda, other US team players celebrate Junior team's Solheim Cup win

On Tuesday, September 10, Team USA made history by winning the Junior Solheim Cup by a record margin. Following this, the team's captain, Beth Daniel, celebrated the success with the US Senior Solheim Cup squad, which will be in action later this week.

Earlier, Team USA won the Ping Junior Solheim Cup with a final score of 18.5-5.5 over Team Europe. This marked their eighth win in the biennial event and the largest winning margin by any team in the tournament's history.

After Team USA's victory, Beth Daniel visited the senior team for the celebration.

"We wanted to set the tone for the week, and I think we did the pretty good job," she said while addressing the team members.

The US team then started singing, "We are the champions; those are the losers."

The senior team will be in action later this week as the Solheim Cup will tee off on Friday, September 13 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. Jennifer Kupcho, Sarah Schmelzel, and Lexi Thompson are captain Stacy Lewis' picks. Lewis will lead the team for the second straight year.

For the European team, Suzann Pettersen returns as a non-playing captain. Charley Hull, Madelene Sagstrom, Esther Henseleit, Celine Boutier, Maja Stark, Linn Grant, Leona Maguire, Carlota Ciganda, and Georgia Hall qualified automatically.
