Tim Brown made a hole-in-one at the 2024 American Century Championship. The three-day celebrity event concluded on Sunday, July 14 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada.
On the par-3 12th hole in the first round, Brown showed his golf prowess when he made the hole-in-one from 143 yards. He celebrated the moment with Marcus Allen.

Tim Brown's hole-in-one was the sixth in the American Century Championship's history and the first ever on the par-3 12th.
For making the hole-in-one, Tim Brown will take home a MasterCraft X24 boat, worth more than $200,000. After winning the boat, Brown said (via Nevada Sports Net):
"It's a good day, it's a good day, no doubt about it, man, what a moment. I've been coming here for a long time and that may have been the best moment I've ever had here. Win a couple hundred thousand-dollar boat, that's hard to beat."
Brown scored 17 points in the first round owing to three birdies and the ace. In the second, he earned 18 points by securing three birdies, tying for ninth position after the round. He could make only 10 points on the final day as he failed to notch a birdie even though he made an eagle on the par-4 sixth.
Tim Brown finished tied for 16th at the 2024 American Century Championship. He secured 45 points in the Stableford Scoring System used at the tournament.
NFL star Tim Brown says that his prize boat will be good for mental health
After securing the hole-in-one, Tim Brown earned a $200,000 MasterCraft X24 boat at the American Century Championship.
Brown looked excited about sailing on the boat, saying that he looks forward to going out and relaxing without any worries. He said (via Discover Boating):
"You know, it's got to be good for your mental health. No doubt about that. So it's a beautiful thing, man. We're looking forward, the kids are excited, the wife is excited."
Krista Schipner, MasterCraft's Vice President of Marketing, said (via South Tahoe Now):
"Tim is the first player to win a boat since MasterCraft became involved with the tournament several years ago. We are thrilled for Tim to receive his new MasterCraft and can't wait to see him out on the water."
Mardy Fish won the 35th edition of the tournament, winning $150,000 of the total $750,000 doled out in prize money to the field of 90 celebrities and athletes. Fish scored 83 points in the 54 holes. The win was Fish's second win at the tournament, having won in 2020 as well.
Adam Thielen was the top NFL player on the scoreboard after the third round. He finished 7th with 58 points. Baseball star Josh Smoltz finished fourth with 64 points. Former soccer player Taylor Twellman finished 8th with 52 points.
Musician and country singer Jake Owen finished 9th with 51 points while actor and musician Jack Wagner finished 10th with 49.
