Ludvig Aberg and other PGA Tour stars hilariously tried to recreate the CBS announcer Jim Nantz's "Hello friends" impression. Golf on CBS asked the Tour players to recreate their best impression of Nantz's popular dialogue he says during his golf coverage.
Several golfers, including Ludvig Aberg and Shane Lowry, tried to say it in the way Nantz says it. Aside from the golfers, other journalists and reporters, including Amanda Balionis, also tried to copy it.

A look into Ludvig Aberg's performance at the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open
Ludvig Aberg had a remarkable start at the Farmers Insurance Open on Wednesday, January 22, with an impressive round of 63, taking an early lead in the game. He played the first round at the North Golf Course of Torrey Pines.
Aberg started the game on the first tee hole with consecutive birdies, then added another birdie on the 14th and an eagle on the 17th. On the back nine, he made four birdies and a bogey for a round of 9-under 63. Speaking of his first-round performance, Aberg said, via tee script:
"Glad I'm done, number one. It was hard, it was good. We knew it was going to be hard coming in. Obviously the South course is pretty hard even when you play it in 75 and no wind at all. Adding some 30-mile-an-hour gusts and sustained 15, it makes it pretty difficult. Felt like we hung in there quite well and gave ourselves a chance over the weekend."
However, after a good start to the event, Aberg struggled with his game. On the South Course at Torrey Pines, he made three bogeys, two birdies, and a double bogey in the second round for a 3-over 75. The struggle continued even in the third round when he made four bogeys, four birdies, and a double bogey for a 2-over 74.
In the final round, Ludvig Aberg started with a bogey and added another on the third. He made a birdie on the eighth but carded two more bogeys on the front nine and two bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine for a round of 7-over 79. He settled in T42 at the tournament after four rounds.
