WATCH: Scottie Scheffler plays tennis with caddy for his birthday in France

Scottie Scheffler is gearing up for the second leg of FedEx playoffs i.e., the 2024 BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club in Denver, Colorado. He is currently at the top of the FedExCup standings with 6,533 points.

Sheffler shared an Instagram post yesterday where he is seen playing tennis with his caddie, Ted Scott, celebrating the latter's birthday, which is on July 26, at Les Bordes Golf Club in France.

"We got to celebrate @jtedscott’s birthday while in France. It was full of pizza, tennis (attempts), and time with family. Shoutout to the incredible staff at @lesbordesestate. The golf course was a great prep for Paris!" Scottie Scheffler said.

The clips are from a week before the men's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics at Le Golf National. Scheffler won the Olympic gold medal by one shot over Tommy Fleetwood.

Scott has been caddying for Scottie Scheffler since late 2021. Since then, Scheffler has won two Masters titles and several tournaments on the PGA Tour. Further, the 2024 season has been almost unbelievable for Scheffler where he has had seven wins. Before him, Scott caddied for Bubba Watson for 15 years. They also won two Masters titles together.

How did Scottie Scheffler perform at the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship?

Scottie Scheffler finished fourth at the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind. Scheffler carded 66, 65, 69, and 66 in the four rounds of the first tournament of FedEx playoffs. He discussed his performance in a press conference after the event.

"I put up a good fight this week. I felt like I could have done a few things better. But overall it was a solid week. I put up a good fight is how I would describe it," he said.

Scheffler received 540 FedEx points for finishing fourth in the tournament. Hideki Matsuyama won the tournament with two shots over Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland.

This was Scheffler's 11th top-5 finish this year. He has had an unbelievable 2024 season with six wins on the PGA Tour and a Major win. He won the second Major of his career by four strokes over Ludvig Aberg at Augusta National Golf Club this year.
