Justin Thomas, currently competing at the 2024 ZOZO Championship, shared a goofy moment with a young fan at the ZOZO Championship. The third round of the sixth edition of the tournament concluded on Friday, 25 October at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan.
In a video shared by an X user, Nico Echavarria was first seen walking alongside a young fan carrying a Columbian flag. Max Greyserman came after him who walked alongside another young fan carrying a US flag.
After Echavarria and Greyserman, Thomas was seen walking, while holding hands with another young fan. He was cheerful and made a goofy and playful face to the camera while walking with the kid.

Justin Thomas is married to Jillian Wisniewski. The couple got engaged in November 2021 and got married a year later in November 2022. Last month, Thomas had shared on Instagram that he'd become a father at the end of November.
Prior to the ZOZO Championship, he said, via PGA Tour:
"It's going to be great. But this week I'm focused on business and trying to win a golf tournament. Then it's time to go home and get ready to be a dad."
Thomas further said:
"I think reality will probably set in when I'm flying home and then when I get home because it will be getting in crunch time. I know my wife's going to be an unbelievable mom and I'm excited for the opportunity to raise a little girl."
The winner of the ZOZO Championship will win $1.53 million.
How is Justin Thomas playing at the ZOZO Championship Championship?
Justin Thomas is eying for his 16th PGA Tour victory at the 2024 ZOZO Championship. After three rounds, Thomas has an aggregate score of 15-under 195 and is currently positioned second.
Thomas scored 4-under 66 in the first round with five birdies against a bogey. He carded a bogey-free 6-under 64 in the second round. He scored four birdies on 6th, 10th, 13th and 16th holes. On the last hole, par-5 18th, he scored an eagle. After the second round, he said, via PGA Tour:
"I'm eager to win any tournament, I always want to. When things are going well, you feel like you should do that quite often and every year, but it's just the reality of how difficult the sport is. Also, I think the TOUR is quite a bit deeper than even when I first came out. You have a lot of guys that are freakishly talented and have no fear and are hungry to win like all of us are."
Thomas continued his performance in the third round. He scored a bogey-free 5 under 65. He started the round with two consecutive birdies on the 1st and 2nd holes. He scored three more birdies on the back nine on the 10th, 11th and 14th holes.
The 15-time PGA Tour winner is currently two shots behind Nico Echavarria. Max Greyserman is positioned third with a score of 14 under 196. Rickie Fowler, Kevin Yu and Nate Lashley are tied for fourth at the 2024 ZOZO Championship.
In 19 starts on the PGA Tour, Justin Thomas has had five top-10 finishes and nine top-25 finishes. His last win came at the 2022 PGA Championship. He'd like to end his drought at the tournament.
