Tom Kim and Sungjae Im are having a great time in the days leading up to the 2024 Presidents Cup. In the midst of preparing for the event, the two Koreans have found time to have fun in a variety of ways.

One example was when they became impromptu cameramen during one of the practice sessions. Im and Kim took the cameras that were following them and began to operate them with hilarious results.

In the video posted by the PGA Tour on its X (formerly Twitter) account, Kim is seen using his camera to take a selfie with Im, fellow Korean Si Wo Kim and South African Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

Im is later seen 'operating' his camera as he walks around the course with Kim. They are seen laughing and joking throughout.

Sungjae Im qualified for the 2024 Presidents Cup International Team as the second-highest ranked player behind Japan's Hideki Matsuyama. Tom Kim also qualified directly for the team as the fourth-highest ranked player.

The top six players in the internal rankings qualified for the international team. This group included a third Korean, Byeong Hun An. The other six were chosen by captain Mike Weir.

A fourth Korean, Si Woo Kim, made the team via a free pick. Korea are the most represented country in the international squad with four players.

The 2024 edition of the Presidents Cup will be the third in Sungjae Im's career. He previously took part in 2019 and 2022, compiling an overall record of six points from 10 matches, thanks to five wins, two draws and three losses.

Im excelled on his debut when he won 3.5 points out of a possible five. On that occasion he won three matches, drew one and lost one. His only defeat came in the foursomes on the third day when he teamed up with Cameron Smith against Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.

Tom Kim, meanwhile, made his Presidents Cup debut at the 2022 edition. He scored two points in five matches at Quail Hollow, winning two and losing three.

His only two wins came on the third day. In the morning, he teamed up with compatriot KH Lee to defeat Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns in a foursomes match. In the afternoon, Tom Kim teamed up with another Korean, Si Woo Kim, to defeat Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele in the four-balls.

Sungjae Im began his professional career in 2015 and has played on several tours, including the PGA Tour, where he was Rookie of the Year in the 2018-19 season. He has seven professional wins, including two on the American based circuit.

Tom Kim, meanwhile, only turned professional in 2018 but already has 12 wins, including three on the PGA Tour.
